When I heard Sheraton hotel were having a free nights promotion, I quickly logged into their website.

Sheraton hotel free night? stay promotion was intended to highlight the chain’s $6 billion revitalization efforts.

Once I logged in I found this message : THIS PROMOTION HAS ENDED. Damn me! The promotion was for the month of October 2009.

The Sheraton hotels were trying to generate some buzz for their hotel brand. One of the managers was quoted in the press admittigng “We’ve have some hotels that were substandard,” “This is a new beginning for the brand.”
